3 Bad adaptation 

If you've ever read the book, you'll be appalled by this version. The plot of the book really deserves a longer treatment, and they left out the whole part where he learns about mercy and forgiveness - kind of an important part of the book. The French made for TV version with Depardieu is MUCH better.
